The ultimate multirisk fabric
It perfectly protects from heat, fire, small molten metal projections from welding, risks from low visibility and electric arc. The Negastat® grid of Bodyguard AS, powerful antistatic, conforms to ATEX standard for explosive atmospheres.
Bodyguard retains its protection specifications to fire, static electricity and chemical splash even after repeated industrial wash cycles. Bodyguard has been positively tested against EN 14116 index 3 & EN 1149-3 after 50 industrial wash cycles at 75°C (EN 15797 T4/8 B). The fire protection of Bodyguard is forever within the fiber.
Bodyguard doesn’t shrink after washing (shrinkage less than 3%) and retains its colour for a long time. Bodyguard is perfectly suited for rental laundries.
Bodyguard is available in several versions which have been engineered to adapt to specific risks within the work environment : light and tough for shirting, heavier for pants and tops, laminated for foul weather protection (EN 343), multi layered for electric arc class 2 (EN 61482), yellow or orange for High Visibility (EN 20471), reinforced with Kevlar® for law enforcement staff.
